Rescue Mission In Utica Serves 2,400 Christmas Meals

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A family from South Africa was among the nearly 200 volunteers at the Rescue Mission of Utica on Christmas Day, helping serve over 1,000 meals to the needy.

Denise Debroize is visiting her brother-in-law in Utica, along with her husband Ray and their four children.

Rev. Bill Dodge says along with meals provided earlier to 1,386 individuals through Operation Sunshine, the Rescue Mission served a total of about 2,400 Christmas dinners.
