A number of local agencies will be at the Parkway Middle School on Oriskany Boulevard in Whitesboro until 7:00 tonight to assist those still recovering from the recent flooding in the area.

Herkimer Oneida Organizations Active in Disaster (HOOAD) is a group of agencies involved in providing disaster relief to local residents.

Mallory Scheve is Executive Director of the American Red Cross of the Mohawk Valley.  She says they're hoping to address any unmet needs residents may have.

A second resource event will take place on Tuesday from noon to 7:00 at the Willowvale Fire Department in Chadwicks.

Those is need of assistance can also call 211.  The 211 service is free and confidential and multi-lingual service is available.

HOOAD includes the American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Oneida County Public Health, Cornell Cooperative Extension, 211 Mid York and others.
