Ribbon Cutting For Utica Unity Community Gardens Gazebo

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Friday for the new gazebo at the Utica Unity Community Gardens on Park Avenue.

Project Coordinator Kathe Bullwinkle says the community garden began in 2013 with the help of a state grant.

Bullwinke say they were able to turn three vacant lots into a 100-bed garden.

The new gazebo was funded by the Mele Corporation.
