Richard Allen Running For Legislature

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Holland Patent School Board member is throwing his hat into the ring for a seat on the county legislature.

Richard Allen announced his candidacy today as the endorsed Republican for the 9th District, which encompasses Deerfield and Trenton in Oneida County.

He's looking to replace David Wilcox who is not seeking reelection.

Allen is a teacher in the Utica School District and a former county clerk.
