Richard Hanna Defeats Challenger Dan Lamb In 22nd Congressional District [PHOTOS]

Utica, NY (WIBX) – In the 22nd Congressional District Congressman Richard Hanna is handily re-elected, beating Democratic challenger Dan Lamb, and says he will hit the ground running when he heads back to Washington.
The 22nd Congressional District constitutes the former 24th Congressional District of New York after redistricting earlier this year.

Supported by his wife, family, friends, and supporters at the Hotel Utica on election night, Hanna says he is not phased by President Obama’s re-election.

In his preliminary acceptance speech Hanna stated that he respects Lamb’s stance and passion, particularly for the environment.
And he says he will continue to work with all to get things done in Washington. Among his priorities, he says, is not saddling his children with Washington’s debt.
