A man ordering dinner is under arrest after allegedly stealing money from the cash drawer at a fast food restaurant.

Utica Police received the burglary call at about 7:00pm on Monday, November 25, 2013 from the McDonald’s in South Utica, New York.  Workers said that 27-year old Richard Naber had reached over the counter and stole the money after the clerk opened the drawer to complete his order.

Police later found Naber at a restaurant in Yorkville.  Assisted by the Yorkville Police, officers took Naber into custody.

Naber, who lives on County Highway 27 in Richfield Springs, is facing one charge of petit larceny.
