The annual Ride for Missing and Exploited Children will take place on Friday May 16.

At a volunteer and riders meeting on the MVCC campus, guest speaker Duane Bowers talked via Skype about how riders can relate to the families of missing children.

Leadership member Dick Jordan says the fact that the ride has grown from 7 riders in 1995 to more than 500 this year is a testament to the support of the local community.

Jordan added that in addition to the 500 riders, over 200 volunteers have signed up to help to make this year's ride happen.

The next meeting will be held on May 12, in the auditorium on the MVCC campus.
