Ride Of Silence Taking Place Tonight

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Wheels will spin quietly this evening as the Ride of Silence takes place in Utica.

Some minor traffic delays may be expected so motorists are reminded to drive with special caution.

Departing from the New Hartford Rec Center at 7:00pm, cyclists will ride for ten minutes in complete silence in honor of those who have been killed in accidents with motor vehicles.

The Ride of Silence is held annually worldwide and is being held just two days before the Ride for Missing Children. Although the events are organized independently of one another, many cyclists are expected to participate in both rides this week.
