Rescue personnel from six towns responded for requests for assistance following a concert in Massachusetts last night.

The event, which took place at Live Nation's Xfinity Center located at 885 South Main Street in Mansfield, was an early stop on Keith Urban's "Raise 'Em Up" tour.

In addition to the private ambulances on hand at the concert, responders from the towns of Eaton, Foxboro, Mansfield, North Attleboro, Norton, and Plainville brought concertgoers to several hospitals.

Authorities declared a "mass casualty incident" at approximately 8:51pm.  Deputy Fire Chief James Puleo was quoted by The Boston Globe as saying that by 10:30pm that at least eight ambulances had brought fans to area hospitals for what appeared to be alcohol-related issues.

The Sun Chronicle says scanner surveillance also indicated that officials also requested help for a 16-year-old boy with an unspecified injury who was unresponsive.  The teen was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro for treatment.

The specific number of those treated has not yet been released.
