Rochester Cops Investigate Fatal Shooting Of 23-Year-Old Man

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Police in Rochester are investigating the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old man who was hit by gunfire in a parking lot.

Officials say the shooting occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday near a stretch of the northern end of Lake Avenue that's home to several restaurants. Police say the man was shot in the torso and collapsed in the road running along Ontario Beach Park.

Police say the man died at the scene. His name hasn't been released.
