A Rochester man is facing several felony charges after leading New York State Police on a high-speed chase in Cortland County.

Troopers say at 3:39 p.m. October 29 they clocked a car doing 87 miles an hour on Interstate 81 North in the Town of Cortlandville.

After initially stopping 26 year old Adrien McCullough's 2017 Infiniti just before exit 10, he reportedly sped off, reaching speeds at over 100 miles an hour.  Authorities say he left the highway at Exit 11 and crashed into an earth embankment.

McCullough was not hurt and was arrested without further incident.

His passengers, 28 year old Tisjan Robinson and 24 year old Alex Perez, however, were both injured. Robinson refused treatment at the scene but Perez, who was in the front seat, was taken to Cortland Regional Medical Center for treatment of an internal injury.

McCullough is charged with felony assault and reckless endangerment as well as misdemeanor unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle and criminal mischief.  He was also ticketed for several traffic violations.

McCullough was sent to the Cortland County Jail without bail.
