A Rochester man has been arrested by New Hartford Police following a grand larceny investigation at the Cazenovia Equipment store on Seneca Turnpike.

Police say 31-year old John Cramer and another man allegedly used a fake New York State driver's license to buy two generators worth over $2,200 for a fictitious construction company from Michigan.

They say the men used fraudulent credit card information to make the purchases.

Cramer is facing charges including grand larceny and forgery.

Police are still looking for the second man involved in the alleged theft.  He's been identified as Joseph Marini and is also from the Rochester-area.

State Police and the Ontario County Sheriff's Office are conducting similar investigations involving the same suspects.
