Rochester’s Monroe Impressive In Title Defense On ESPN

Central New York boxing fans were treated to a great performance from Rochester's Willie Monroe Jr on ESPN'S Friday Night Fights held at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino (fight gallery below). 

Monroe, who won ESPN's 2014 Middleweight Boxcino title at Turning Stone last year, successfully defended his NABA/NABO Middleweight crown against Bryan 'Warrior' Vera (23-9-0, 14 KO's) with a unanimous 10 round decision.

The win ups 'El Mongoose' to 19-1-0, with 6 KO's.
