GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (AP) — Glens Falls has a "Badder Than Ever" honorary mayor.

Mayor Jack Diamond tells The Post-Star of Glens Falls that Blues rock artist George Thorogood has been named honorary mayor for Friday to show appreciation for including the upstate New York city on his "Still Badder Than Ever" tour.

Mayor Diamond says having Thorogood is very positive for the Civic Center and the business community.

Thorogood and his band The Destroyers were to headline a concert Friday night at Glens Falls Civic Center.

Arena general manager Jeff Mead says a Common Council member will present the honorary mayor proclamation on stage right before Thorogood performs his classic hit, "Bad to the Bone."
