The staggering Mets' struggles continued on Tuesday night at Citi Field, dropping a 6-2 decision to an inept Colorado Rockies club with the third worst in the majors.

The loss is New York's 11th in their last 15 games, sinking to a season low nine games under .500 (57-66).

Jhoulys Chacin (1-3) yielded just four hits and a run over six innings in his first outing in over three months due to swelling in his throwing shoulder.
Dexter Fowler had two hits and two RBI's and Charlie Blackmon added two hits, an RBI and two runs scored.
Chris Young (3-7) struck out nine through seven innings, but it was his throwing error on Chacin sac bunt in the sixth inning that led to Colorado's fourth run inning. Young was charged with four runs - two earned - on five hits.
Ruben Tejada had two of New York's six hits. Daniel Murphy and Andres Torres accounted for both RBI's with sacrifice fly outs.
