An early morning accident in Rome sends one of the passengers to the hospital.

At about 3:00am on Friday, July 26, 2013 twenty-year old Daniel Brutsky of Utica was driving east on Route 49 in Rome when the car veered off the south shoulder and into a ditch, hitting a guardrail before becoming airborne and coming to a rest upside-down, according to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office.

The driver and two passengers, 21-year old Sergey Lyubezhanin and 20-year old Zhanna Leontyeva of Frankfort, were treated at the scene.  One of the back seat passengers, 21-year old Yeugeniy Lyubezhanin of Holland Patent, was hospitalized.
