Rome Area Chamber Of Commerce Urging Oneida County Legislature To Approve Agreement

On the eve of the Oneida County Legislature's vote on the proposed Oneida-Madison Counties Casino Pact one local chamber is urging residents to support the agreement.

In what has become a heated debate people on both sides of the issue have come forward in recent days in an attempt to influence the legislature.

Rome Area Chamber of Commerce President William Guglielmo released a statement over the weekend saying that the work has begun to improve the area's economy and urging the Oneida County Legislature to 'take the next step in the process by approving the agreement."
