Rome Bicyclist In Critical Condition

A Rome bicyclist is in critical condition after being struck by a car.

Rome Police say 47-year old James Parisi, Jr. was riding his bike on Mill Street at around 7:00 Tuesday morning when he was hit.

The driver of the vehicle stopped and called 9-1-1.  Parisi was taken to a Utica hospital.

The investigation into the accident is continuing.
