A multi-state investigation has led to the arrest of a Rome man on Grand Larceny charges.

According to New York State Police, 26-year-old Cody Madonia was arrested Thursday following numerous complaints alleging Madonia failed to provide purchased equipment to customers at his business, Proforce Excavation and Equipment, on Turin Road.

Madonia allegedly failed to provide the equipment to customers after receiving over $90,000 in payments. These complaints follow a previous arrest of Madonia in January, after similar allegations were made regarding the eBay sale of a Bobcat skid-steer.

Madonia is facing several Felony Charges including Grand Larceny and Scheme to Defraud. He's being held in Oneida County Jail for centralized arraingment. The New York State Police were assisted in their investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police, Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department in Indiana, and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department in Tennessee.
