Rome Fire Displaces Family of Five

The local chaper of the American Red Cross is providing aid to a family of five in the City of Rome.

The fire broke out at a residence on Lee Valley Road on Tuesday evening.

Two adults and three children, ages 2, 3 and 4 were displaced from the home.

The Mohawk Valley Chapter of the Red Cross provided financial assistance, comfort kits and will continue to be available to the family in the coming days while on the road to recovery.
