Rome Man Accused Of Having Sexual Contact With A Child

A Rome man has been arrested for allegedly having sexual contact with a child.

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center says 45-year old Jaymie Shalna had sexual contact with a girl under the age of 14 in the City of Rome.

Shalna is charged with sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

The victim has been offered counseling services through the Child Advocacy Center.
