Rome Man Arrested After Investigation By Oneida County CAC

A Rome man has been arrested as the result of an investigation by the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.

Investigators say 25-year old William Lighthall, Junior allegedly engaged in sexual contact with a boy under the age of 11 in Rome last month.

Lighthall is charged with criminal sexual act, a felony.

An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.

The victim has been offered services through the Child Advocacy Center.
