Rome Man Arrested Following Robbery

A Rome man has been arrested in connection with a robbery at the Bloomfield Gardens Apartment complex on Sunday evening.

Rome Police have charged 37-year old Harry Rodriquez, Jr. with robbery and assault.

Police say Rodriquez had gone to the apartment to visit the victim.

They say Rodriquez forcibly removed cash from the victim and during a struggle, he allegedly pulled out a knife and cut the victim across the abdomen.

The victim suffered a minor injury.
