Rome Man Arrested For Burglary And Criminal Contempt

Rome, NY (WIBX) - State Police say a Rome man arrested in connection with a burglary that happened on Glen South Road in Rome is facing additional charges.

Police charged 22-year old Justin French with burglary in the June 10th break-in.

While police were conducting the burglary investigation, they found that French had also been involved in a domestic dispute  in whch he subjected a woman to physical harassment and allegeldy choked her in violation of an order of protection.

French was also charged with criminal contempt, harassment and  criminal obstructing of breathing.

Rome Police assisted State Police in their investigation.
