Rome Man Charged In 2017 Fatal Thruway Crash

State Police have arrested a Rome man in connection with a 2017 fatal Thruway crash.

23-year old Everett Taylor is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and reckless driving.

The accident happened on May 27th, 2017 on I-90 in Westmoreland and involved a car and a motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, 47-year old Joseph Perotti of Utica, died of his injures at a local hospital several days later.

Taylor was arraigned Tuesday morning in Oneida County Court and was remanded to the Oneida County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
