Rome Man Charged With Burglary

A Rome man was arrested after he was allegedly caught burglarizing a home on Walnut Street.

Rome Police say 26-year old Joseph Schillaci led officers on a brief foot chase before he was caught.

He was chaged with burglary.

Police say Schillaci was found with gold and silver jewelry that had been taken from the home.
