Rome Man Charged With DWI Under Leandra’s Law

A Rome man has been charged with DWI following a two-vehicle accident on Route 365 in Verona.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 39-year old Ku Lu had three passengers in his vehicle, including his 8-year old son.

Deputies say Lu's blood alcohol level was just over twice the legal limit.

No one was injured in the accident.
