A several months long investigation by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office has led to the arrest of a Rome man on a grand larceny charge.

Investigators say in May and June of this year, 40-year old Timothy Kotary allegedly used the credit cards of an employer to steal $10,000.

They say Kotary was an employee of a business in Rome for about a month.

Kotary was on parole at the time of the incidents.

He was arraigned in Rome City Court and sent to the Oneida County jail without bail.
