Rome Man Charged With Grand Larceny

Rome, NY (WIBX) - Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a Rome man for allegedly stealing over $1,000 in cigarettes.Deputies say 36-year old Joseph Abrams stole the cigarettes from the SavOn at the intersection of Routes 31 and 365.

Abrams was charged with grand larceny.

He'll appear in Town of Verona Court at a later date.

Oneida Nation Police assisted in the investigation.
