Rome Man Charged With Rape

A Rome man has been arrested on a rape charge by the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.

Investigators say 41-year Carlos Guzman allegedly had sex with a 14-year old girl earlier this month at a home on West Thomas Street.

They say the investigation is continuing and more charges are possible.

The victim has been offered counseling through the Child Advocacy Center.
