Rome Man Charged With Possessing Child Pornography

A Rome man has been arrested following a lengthy investigation by the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center into the possession of child pornography.

37-year old Allen Armstrong is charged with three counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child.

Several electronic devices were seized from Armstrong's home.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.

The Child Advocacy Center was assisted by the New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit and the Rome Police Department.
