Rome Man Charged With Rape

Rome, NY (WIBX) - An investigation by Rome police and the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center has resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old Rome man on a charge of rape. Patrick Snell is accused of a having sex with a 13-year-old. Snell was arraigned in the Village of New York Mills Court and remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. The victim has been offered counseling through the Child Advocacy Center.
