Rome Man Charged With Receiving 12 Pounds Of Marijuana Through The Mail
An investigation by the Oneida County Drug Enforcement Task Force, New Hartford Police and the U.S Postal Inspector Service has led to the arrest of a Rome man on drug charges.
Authorities say 32-year old Robert Cardillo, Junior allegedly physically received a package at the Post Office on Campion Road in New Hartford that contained more than 12 pounds of marijuana.
Police say the marijuana has a street value of over $50,000.
Cardillo was charged with felony criminal possession of marijuana. He was arraigned an sent to the Oneida County Jail on $1,000 bail.
