Rome Man Charged With Sexual Misconduct

A several weeks long investigation by the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center has led to the arrest of a Rome teen.

An 18-year-old is accused of having sexual contact with a 15-year old.  The alleged incidents took place in March and April of this year.

He is charged with sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child. Authorities say the investigation is continuing.

The victim has been offered counseling through the Child Advocacy Center.
