New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - A Rome man is facing numerous charges after allegedly breaking into a vehicle at St. Luke's Hospital.

New Hartford Police say 38-year old David Cardamone was identified as the suspect by a hospital security camera.

Police say Cardamone was also seen on security cameras entering Jazzmans Cafe in the lobby of the hospital after hours, trying to open the cash register.

Cardamone, who is currently on parole for forgery, was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, petty larceny and attempted petty larceny.
