The former manager of the Sears Outlet Store in Rome is facing a grand larceny charge.

31-year old Benjamin Simonds is also charged with falsifying business records.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office say the arrest comes from an investigation into fraudulent returns and sales adjustments that took place this June and July.

They say Simonds allegedly completed seven fraudulent transactions totaling over 27-hundred dollars.
