Rome Man Facing Rape Charge

A Rome man has been arrested on a rape charge.

New York State Police say 18-year old Esteban Ramos allegedly had sexual contact with a girl under the age of 13 in Rome.

Ramos was arraigned in Rome City Court and sent on the Oneida County Jail on $25,000 bail.

The victim has been offered counseling through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
