Rome Man Facing Rape Charge

A Rome man has been arrested for allegedly engaging in an ongoing sexual relationship with a child under the age of 15.

Investigators with the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center say 19-year old Tyler Hart is charged with rape.

The arrest was the result of a month-long investigation.

Hart was sent to the county jail without bail.

The case has been turned over to the District Attorney's Office for grand jury consideration.
