Rome Man Found Asleep At The Wheel Charged With DWI

A Rome man is facing a DWI charge after he was found asleep at the wheel.

State Police say 31-year old Joshua Marsh was found sleeping behind the wheel of his pickup truck at the intersection of Brown Road and Greenway-New London Road.

Police say after being interviewed, it was found that Marsh had allegedly been consuming alcoholic beverages and field sobriety tests indicated he was intoxicated.

They says Marsh refused a breath test at the scene and was also charged with refusal of a breath screen.
