Rome PD Warrant Of The Week Arrested In Utica

Less than 24 hours after being featured as the Rome Police Department's "Warrant of the Week", 30-year old Leslie Berneche has been arrested.

Berneche was taken into custody without incident today by members of the US Marshals Regional Task Force on Erie Street in Utica.

Rome Police say they had received several tips from the public as to Berneche's whereabouts.

Berneche was wanted on a September 2017 warrant out of Rome City Court for robbery and assault with intent to cause physical injury.
