Rome Police Arrest South Carolina Murder Suspect

A man wanted for murder in South Carolina has been arrested by Rome Police.

24-year old John Christopher Hart was taken into custody on the 400 block of West Thomas Street without incident.

Hart is being held as a fugitive from justice pending extradition proceedings.

The murder in South Carolina happened on April 10th

Police say Hart’s ties to the Rome area and his activities since arriving are still being investigated.
