Rome, NY (WIBX) - The Rome Police Department will be holding its second Law Enforcement Day tomorrow at Franklyn Field on North James Street.

Rome Public Safety Commissioner James Masucci says for the past several year, the Rome Police Department has tried to expand its community policing efforts and programs.

Law Enforcement Day will feature Special Response Team demonstrations, crime scene forensics demonstrations and child safety identification and fingerprinting.

The Rome PD and a number of other local law enforcement agencies will be participating.

The event is happening from 2:00 to 10:00.
