Rome Police Identify Fatal Accident Victim

Rome Police have released the name of the man killed in a motorcycle accident on Christmas Eve.

The victim is identified as 24-year old Rome resident Matthew Mursch.

Police say Mursch was involved in an accident with a pickup truck on Thursday afternoon on Rome-Taberg Road.  He died at a local hospital.

The driver of the pickup was not injured.

The investigation into the accident is continuing.
