Rome Police Investigate Robbery At Sunoco Store

Rome Police are investigating an early morning robbery at the Sunoco Store on East Dominick Street.

Police say a man armed with a rifle entered the store just before 4:00 Tuesday morning and demanded cash from the clerk.

The man fled the store in an unknown direction after the clerk gave him money.

No injuries were reported.

Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,500 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect in this case.
