Rome Police Investigating Car Pedestrian Accident

Rome Police are investigating a car-pedestrian accident which happened Thursday evening

Police say a woman was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of East Chestnut Street and Black River Boulevard at around 5:00.

She suffered serious injuries and was taken to a Syracuse hospital.

More information will be released by police once the investigation is completed.
