Rome Police Looking For Suspect

Rome Police are asking for your help in identifying a man who used a “quick change” scam to con a Walgreens clerk into giving him an extra $50 in change.

According to Police, the man purchased a pack of gum with a $50 bill and then quickly produced a $100 bill to confuse the clerk.

The incident happened on October 22.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Rome Police at 315-339-7715 or send an anonymous e-mail tip by logging on to the Rome Police website.
