Rome, NY (WIBX) - Rome Police are asking for help identifying a man who allegedly robbed a convenience store on East Dominick Street.

According to officials, shortly before three on Christmas morning, a lone man walked into the A Plus Sunoco to buy cigarettes.

When the cashier opened the register, he threatened them with an unknown object, took money from the register and ran off. The cashier was not injured during the incident.

Rome Police say he is a six foot tall black man with a medium build.
