Rome Police Solve Two Year Old Case

Rome Police say they've solved a two-year old case with the arrest of a South Carolina man.

Police say a camper- trailer valued at over $13,000 that had been stolen from a home on Franklyn Street in September of 2012 has been found and 37-year old Carlos Pacheco is under arrest.

Pacheco, a native of Rome now living in South Carolina, was charged with possession of stolen property.

An anonymous tip received last week led Rome Police to South Carolina.

Investigators worked with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, which was able to locate the camper and arrest Pacheco.
