The Rome Rescue Mission is asking for the public's help after a water main break flooded part of their food pantry.

A portion of the dry goods at the mission were damaged in the flood.

They're looking to replace some of the dried items, including cereal, soup, oatmeal, rice, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and baby formula.

“The Rome Rescue Mission is always grateful for the generosity of our community” says Executive Director, Matt Miller. “That generosity really shows in situations like this.”

Items can be dropped off at the Rescue Mission on East Dominick Street Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 5:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 2:00.

You can also make monetary donations at romemission.org.
