Rome Sex Offender Arrested

A Rome man has been arrested following an investigation by the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.

20-year old Nori Powell was charged with disseminating indecent material to a minor.

Powell allegedly engaged in an online sexual relationship with a child under the age of 17.

Authorities say Powell's arrest comes just five months after his conviction on a sexual abuse charge.

Powell was sentenced to time served and six years of probation supervision.
